About Me
Ever since I could, I would be dancing everywhere. My mom enrolled me in my first ever Bharatanatyam class when I was five years old, and I have danced ever since. I danced at Vrindavan Indian Dance Academy, and my Guru was Bindu Shankar. I've performed on various stages, like: temples, churches, art festivals and my dance academy’s annual recitals.
On Feburary 25, 2023 I performed my arangatrem, a two hour debut solo performance, which showcased my journey through this dance style. It showed my journey and path in Barathanatyam through out the past ten years.
I have been a teacher assistant at Vrindavan Dance Academy for three years. I have helped teach kids ages 10-13, as well as adult groups.
I am very passionate about giving back to the community, and I do it by volunteering at Kaiser and San Ramon Regional Medical Center, as well as being a Teacher Assistant for dance.
